Piñon Salve
This salve was made using the same techniques as our grandmothers but without the petroleum jelly. This is a highly concentrated salve utilizing piñon sap collected from Northern New Mexico near Taos. The salve can be used on the skin for medicinal purposes such as drawing out splinters, for cuts and burns, for shingles pain (one of our favorite uses) or for dry skin. It’s also great for little ones who like the comfort of rubbing some salve on an fresh “ya, ya” while you chant “Sana Sana Colita de Rana”.
It can also be used spiritually to help center your heart, protect your spirit and support you during prayer and meditation.
Ingredients: Piñon Sap, Avocado Oil, Beeswax
